If you prefer partying during the day to dancing til dawn, Ibiza has got plenty of options for you. From chilled out beach cocktails to epic DJ sets, there are so many day party options on the island.
I’ve put together this list of day parties that I love and have personally visited to help you decide where you want to spend the day on this beautiful Balearic Island. Read on to find the best Ibiza pool party or beach club for you.
And afterwards you can always head on to a club – or go to bed at a reasonable hour!
1. O Beach
If you’re staying in San Antonio then O Beach is a great option for a day party close to your accommodation. It’s the biggest pool party in Ibiza and one of my favourite places to go when I’m on the island.
You can choose whether to book one of the VIP beds with a drinks and food package or just pay for entry. A bed is a great option if you like somewhere to chill.
You get waiter service and you can also use your minimum spend towards food. If you don’t get a bed, you can arrive early to get a table on the dance floor area and you’ll need to get drinks at the bar.
I’ve done both, and I quite enjoyed not having a bed as I felt like I could soak up the atmosphere more.
It’s open every day during summer and has a stellar line-up of house DJs plus special events like Kisstory and Ibiza Spray, a champagne pool party. There are also dancers and acrobats as well as live saxophonists.
Top tip: If you go on the Pukka Up boat party, you get entrance to O Beach the next day if you pay a little extra, so this is a great option if you don’t want to book a bed.
Is O Beach Ibiza worth it?
In my opinion, O Beach is definitely worth it – I’ve always had a great time there! Now, don’t get me wrong – O Beach is definitely on the expensive side. But this is Ibiza – and most things are quite pricey!
O Beach is one of the day parties that provides the most value for money as you get to see numerous DJs as well as entertainment like dancers and acrobats. Also, the bed and drinks packages work out good value.
What are the rules for O Beach?
There are a couple of things you should stick to when visiting O Beach:
- Wear footwear to arrive and depart
- Arrive and depart respectfully clothed (tops on lads!)
- No sporting team tops
- You must wear swimwear to go in the pool
- You can’t go in the pool fully clothed
2. Ushuaia
For an open-air club vibe, Ushuaia is the place to be. It hosts one of the most popular pool parties on the island and is open every day from 5pm until 11pm.
There’s a huge pool here which is closed off during events but you can go in the mini pool if you fancy cooling off with a dip.
Some of the best DJs in the world have residencies here including Calvin Harris, David Guetta, and Martin Garrix. I went to the F Me I’m Famous David Guetta club night and it was so much fun.
You can also stay at Ushuaia and you get free entry to events. Some rooms even have a balcony overlooking the stage and pool area, so you don’t even need to leave your room to enjoy this epic day party.
How much are drinks at Ushuaia?
Drinks are quite pricey at around 24 euros for a spirit and mixer, but the benefit of this is that there wasn’t a huge queue at the bar.
What to wear to Ushuaia?
Like most places in Ibiza, the dress code is pretty relaxed – anything goes! Feel free to bring the party vibes – I wore a sparkly leotard with platform sandals.
Does Ushuaia close at 11pm?
Yes, Ushuaia closes at 11pm as it is a hotel as well as a day party venue.
3. Blue Marlin
Blue Marlin has a very luxe vibe so it’s perfect for grown up Ibiza holidays. It’s a little bit more spenny than O Beach but you pay for the gorgeous setting on the shore of Cala Jondal.
There are boat taxis available to take people from their yachts to the shore, making it a popular stop if you’re spending the day on the water with a private charter such as The Boat Charter Ibiza.
Plus, there are world class DJs and a delicious Mediterranean-inspired menu. I absolutely loved the frozen cocktails here, really refreshing, especially after a heavy night (me at Cafe Mambo the night before!).
The beds are on the beach and set back a little from the DJ booth and dance area so you can choose to have a more chilled day if you want. The sea here is also so clear so it’s the perfect spot for a swim.
4. Wi-Ki-Woo
Another fun pool party in San Antonio, Wi-Ki-Woo is most recognisable for its mint green and pink colour-scheme which makes it super Instagrammable. There’s a relaxed vibe here with DJs playing tunes and plenty of opportunities to take a dip in the pool with a love-heart-shaped inflatable.
The food and drink here is really good – we had a martini cocktail tree and steak sandwiches. At night time, you can head through the mirrored doors to Wi-gg-ly Woo, a lavish suite that turns into a club with DJs spinning tunes and expertly-mixed cocktails.
You can also stay at Wi-Ki-Woo if you want to be near the party as there are rooms, chalets, and suites available. Hotel guests get full waiter service around the pool too.
5. Reggae Reggae Beach
Out of this list of Ibiza day parties, Reggae Reggae Beach is the most cost-effective option so it’s a must-do if you’re trying to have a budget break in Ibiza. Located around the corner from San Antonio Bay on Playa Pinet, you can choose to walk there along the beach or take a taxi boat which runs every 30 minutes.
There’s a super chilled vibe here with bean bag seating and tables and you can choose from tropical cocktails at the bar. The drinks are reasonably priced for Ibiza, I would say they’re comparable to London prices.
Reggae Reggae Beach is right on the beach so you can take a dip in the beautiful clear-blue waters here. A DJ provides the reggae soundtrack and you can grab some barbecue snacks too.
After an unforgettable day party in Ibiza, filled with sunshine, music, and waves, if you want a personalised souvenir to extend the joy, custom pin badges are the perfect travel memento.
