With the hand luggage liquid rules and large bottles taking up lots of space, it can be difficult to travel with your usual perfume. That’s where travel-sized perfumes come in, miniature bottles of your favourite scents that are easy to transport whether you’re heading for a cheeky weekend away or off on a road trip.

In this post, I’m going to be looking at some of the best travel-sized perfumes available at parfumdreams for you to take with you on your next adventure.
What are the hand luggage liquid rules?
Currently, there are strict rules about taking liquids through security in your hand luggage in the UK. Liquids include drinks, cosmetics and toiletries, pastes, gels, and solutions.
Liquids must be in containers less than 100ml in a transparent, sealable bag.
You can read more about hand luggage restrictions here.
The best travel-sized perfumes
Whether you’re looking for a fresh, floral daytime scent or something more musky and sultry, read on for some of the best travel-size perfumes.
Best for city breaks
Libre Eau de Parfum by Yves Saint Laurent is my favourite scent for a European city break. With feminine notes of orange and masculine hints of lavender, this fragrance is all about contrasts.
It’s sensual yet cool and floral at the same time, and I love spritzing it on before heading out to explore the coffee shops of Prague or wandering the streets of Paris.
Libre is available in 30ml, 50ml, and 90ml sizes, all of which you can take through security.
Best for summer holidays
Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Eau de Toilette is my favourite scent for a summer holiday. The fragrance is vibrant and fresh, with notes of plum, raspberry, and wild rose.
It’s perfect for spritzing on around the pool or wearing at the beach.
Daisy Eau So Fresh comes in a 30ml size, so you’ve got plenty of space to play with in your liquid allowance.
Best for men
If you’re looking for a scent for a man, then Dior Sauvage Eau de Parfum is a great choice. It’s sensual, spicy, and smoky with notes of bergamot, vanilla, pepper, and patchouli.
The scent was inspired by dusk in the desert so it’s perfect for travels to warmer climes.
Dior Sauvage is available in a 60ml bottle, perfect for your hand luggage.
Top tip for saving money on travel perfume
A great way to save money on travel perfume is to take samples away with you rather than buying a new perfume, especially for your trip. Of course, this only works for shorter trips, but it’s a great space saver too.
You can pick perfume samples up for free from all sorts of places, including department stores, perfume websites, and even in some magazines.
You can also buy sample sets that come with samples of several different perfumes inside if you’re not sure which scent you like best.
