If you’ve got to buy a Christmas present for someone who loves the outdoors this year then you might not be sure where to start. There is so much gear available that it’s difficult to know what to choose.

Here are some suggestions for some of the best Christmas gifts for outdoor lovers this year.

ACAI Thermal Skinny Outdoor Trousers

The ACAI thermal skinny outdoor trousers are my favourite trousers for walking in winter. The snug thermal layer keeps you nice and warm and the skinny fit is super flattering.

They come in a variety of stylish colours and you can get 10% off when you use my code COCO.

And it’s not just the trousers. ACAI have a range of outdoor wear including hoodies, coats, mid-layers, thermals, and waterproofs. Basically everything you need for a day of hiking.

OS Paper Maps

Although I’m a huge fan of using walking apps to plan your routes, you shouldn’t really leave home without a paper map. If you know someone that loves getting out on a hike then a paper map is a great idea for a Christmas gift.

The Ordnance Survey maps are the most detailed maps you can get of Great Britain and they provide information on footpaths, roads, and open access areas. The Map of the Peak District – White Peak Area covers some of my favourite places to walk including Buxton, Bakewell, Matlock and Dovedale.

Passenger long sleeve t-shirt

One of my favourite outdoor clothing brands is Passenger, thanks to its laidback style which is inspired by escaping the everyday and getting out on new adventures. There’s also a focus on the environment with a lot of the products made from recycled materials and trees planted for every sale on their website.

You can get 10% off Passenger clothing when you visit my shop.

My Urban Trail leggings

I can honestly say that the My Urban Trail leggings are the best leggings for hiking. They are super stretchy, perfect for running, large steps, or even squats.

They are super flattering with a high waist fit and come in a variety of cool colours and designs.

My favourite thing about them is the pocket on either side for your phone and keys. This means you don’t have to take a bag with you if you’re just popping out on a dog walk or a run.

Yugen Explore Kyoto Bobble Hat

I love the Yugen Explore Kyoto Bobble Hat so much that I have it in two colours! It’s an essential accessory for winter hikes as its thick knit keeps your head super cosy and stops the heat from escaping.

It’s a unisex hat (I’ve had to steal mine back from my boyfriend a couple of times!) and its stylish as well as practical. I’ve worn mine for colder weather city breaks, hiking, and even when just walking the dog on colder days.

It’s a fantastic stocking filler for anyone who loves cold weather adventures.

Berghaus coat

Berghaus Women’s Talmine Jacket

This women’s coat is lightweight and water resistant so it’s perfect for popping in your bag if the forecast has given rain. It has advanced synthetic insulation to keep you warm when it’s a little chilly outside as well as an adjustable hood to keep you dry during showers.

I love this coat as it’s really fitted. I find sometimes that women’s outdoor coats can be a bit baggy and shapeless but this one is really flattering and it fits so well.

It’s also super cosy and I know because I shot these photos outside when it was 1 degree!

You can’t really go wrong with a coat or jacket as a Christmas present as it’s something that anyone who loves the outdoors will always need. You can never have too many!

Berghaus backpack

Another essential item for any walk or outdoor adventure is a backpack. This one from Berghaus is lightweight and versatile and it’s designed and made for relentless use.

If you know someone who’s out and about on the hills every weekend, this would be the perfect gift for them.

This daypack is so roomy! I packed an extra couple of layers, TWO water bottles and my hat and gloves and there was lots of room to spare.

There’s also a separate front pocket and side pockets which are really handy for popping your drink in (and snacks!) so you can easily reach it.

One thing that I really love about it is how comfortable it feels to wear. It has a padded back flow system – perfect for warm days as well when you may start to get a little sweaty!
