My Ibiza looks

Ted Baker bikini

Ibiza is my favourite destination for a girls holiday and a girls holiday is all about the fashion. Usually I like to have an entire new wardrobe before I jet off with my besties so here are some of my favourite things which I wore when I visited Ibiza this year.

Simply Beach bikini

It’s all about the swimwear with any beach destination and Ibiza is no different. A bandeau bikini is a surefire way to ensure that you look great and catch an amazing tan. I absolutely adore this Ted Baker bikini from Simply Beach – the print is just gorgeous and it makes my boobs look incredible! It also has a really cute metal bow detail on the back which I love and a thin strap which you can tie around your neck if you’re not completely comfortable with a bandeau style. I wore this for a day of sunbathing on San Antonio Bay and I got lots of compliments about it from the girls.

Bow detailing
As it’s Ted Baker you can really tell that it’s great quality – it just looks really expensive and special, perfect for posing on the beach and around the pool. I was also surprised by the support it offered me, as I’m slightly bigger on top and it always felt comfortable and secure. Simply Beach have got lots of luxe brands on their website and some really gorgeous swimwear – in fact, it was difficult to pick just one bikini! Their bandeau bikinis come in a range of styles so there’s something to suit everyone and something to suit every budget.

Sacet jewellery

I’m not a fan of wearing lots of jewellery on holiday and so I usually keep it simple with an anklet and a watch or something delicate. These beautiful earrings and necklace from Sacet are super delicate and pretty and they are rose gold which looks amazing once you get a bit of a glow. I teamed mine with my favourite red summer dress from ASOS. It’s floral, short and floaty and perfect for balmy summer days.

Sacet jewellery is ethically and consciously crafted which I’m really into and they’re committed to offering designer jewellery at affordable prices which ensures that no one is exploited in the process.

Cliphair extensions

Hair extensions

I had my hair cut into a long bob this winter and while I absolutely loved it, I really love having long hair on holiday (especially for posing at Ocean Beach!) and that was just not going to cut it. I looked into having micro ring extensions but I just couldn’t really justify the cost when there are holidays to pay for and the amount of maintenance that they need really put me off as I’m super lazy! I was really pleased when I got sent these lush clip in hair extensions from Cliphair.

They’re 100% real Remy human hair and the quality is amazing. In fact, they were so thick and luscious that I only had to wear half of the wefts to give me a really full head of hair. They’re also really quick and easy to put in – I curled them once and brushed through for a beachy wave and then it literally took five minutes to clip them in and give myself mermaid hair. It looked so great, I had to use salon purple shampoos and conditioners to keep my actual hair matching with them, giving myself long flowing blonde locks.

Hair extensions
They’re great for travelling as they’re super portable – you can obviously just wear them while you’re travelling (although be careful of setting off the metal detectors at the airport!) or pop them into their packaging and place them in your hand luggage – they hardly take up any room. I wore my hair extensions every night and in the daytime, when we went to Ocean Beach. They’re perfect for changing up your look and giving you a bit more glamour for more special occasions.

You truly look amazing. I also love to travel and I’ve recently switched to a healthier lifestyle and training for a race with SportMe running app, which calculates distance, time, pace and calories. Finding new running routes is always a challenge, such as sneaking in my runs into my destinations. Your blog posts are a true inspiration.

Ah thank you so much, that’s so lovely of you to say! I didn’t feel in the best shape when I went to Ibiza – I’d been doing 15 minute HIIT workouts every morning and then *trying* to eat well but I wasn’t super strict with myself because I love food too much!

[…] So that’s it – how to do Ibiza in your 30s. It’s all about delicious meals with glasses of wine or sangria, beach clubs and sunsets, and hotels which may be slightly pricier than what you would have stayed in when you were 20. I still really love Ibiza and I definitely think it’s got something to offer people of all ages so Id recommend visiting Ibiza in your 30s. Roll on next year!
