4 things to do in Florida
| Collaborative post |
Florida. This beautiful state can be found in the southeast of the USA and plays host to millions of tourists every single year. With over 600 miles of beautiful beaches, the sunshine state is renowned for its Latin-America scene, nightlife, world-famous theme parks and as one of the most popular places in the world to retire to. It’s hardly surprising that many people place Florida pretty high on their travel bucket list and there are plenty of things to do in Florida.
Whether you’re planning a road trip (call an Orlando motorcycle accident lawyer if you require legal information), a couple’s retreat or a family holiday, there’s so much to see and do in Florida you’re truly spoilt for choice.
Here are my top four things you must experience in Florida.
Florida isn’t just glorious beaches and theme parks, it’s actually home to an incredible array of different environments and habitats. The most famous of which is The Everglades National Park. Stunning subtropical marshes and mysterious swamps await you in this awe-inspiring location, where you’ll have to have your eyes peeled and your camera ready to capture some shots of the local wildlife. Otters, turtles, alligators and so many more species are waiting for you as you explore the area by boat.
Walt Disney World
For many, it’s the holiday of a lifetime and it’s easy to see why. Walt Disney World is actually made up of four theme parks: Animal Kingdom, Epcot, The Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You can’t see it all in one go, however, you can enjoy every moment in the glorious sunshine with something for kids and big-kids alike.
One of the most famous beaches in the world, Miami Beach is a must-see for any visitor to the region. With its gloriously golden sand and crystal clear waters, you’ll never want to leave. You should also check out Ocean Drive while you’re in the area and discover some of the amazing food on offer and art deco themed buildings.
Florida is home to many sea islands, but one of the most famous is Amelia Island. This chain of barrier islands is only four miles wide and around 13 miles long, yet Amelia Island is incredibly memorable. Known for its natural beauty and breathtaking wildlife, you’ll find a whole host of activities including water sports, day spas, dining experiences and more on this incredibly modest yet beautiful little island.
There are so many reasons to visit Florida – let me know if you’ve been to the Sunshine State in the comments.
