Weleda One-Step Cleanser and Toner review*

OneStepCleanserToner
I’ve been looking for a new cleanser for a while and so when I was offered the chance to try the One-Step Cleanser and Toner from green beauty pioneer Weleda’s new natural clease and tone range, I jumped at the chance. I love trying out new skincare products as my skin used to be really prone to bad breakouts and I was constantly on the look out for something to combat this. Now that my skin has calmed down considerably (probably due to a SLIGHTLY better diet and a SLIGHT increase in age) my needs have changed a little. My skin is still greasy around my T zone, so I need something to balance this but I’m also looking for something to make my complexion glow and I’m conscious of what ingredients the products contain, preferring to go au naturel.

The Weleda One-Step Cleanser and Toner is a milky lotion which is special formulated for normal to combination skin. It’s easy to use as you just apply it to slightly moistened cotton wool pads and apply over the face, neck and decolletage before washing off. For me, I do usually prefer a slightly more foaming cleanser as I like to really rub it in all over my skin but I think that due to the toning element, this isn’t really possible.

What I love about the product is that is, as it’s a two in one, it saves space in the bathroom (I don’t know about you but mine is literally packed to the gills with moisturisers and fake tans!) and it saves you time in the morning which is great for me as I already struggle to fit everything in before I leave for work. It’s also great for taking your make-up off which I find that cleansers don’t tend to do too well. It is made with organic olive oil which helps to cleanse away impurities and get rid of that pesky make-up, along with extracts of iris root and witch hazel which help to revitalise the skin and tone the pores.

My skin has been clear and glowing ever since I’ve been using the One-Step Cleanser and Toner and my skin has felt completely clean but still nourished. I use twice a day – just before bed and once in the morning. The whole range is free from synthetic additives of any kind and is certified 100% natural with organic ingredients.
