Tropic Sun Drops Gradual Tanning Facial Serum*
If you read the blog regularly, you’ll know that I’m a complete convert to Tropic Skincare (see my most recent review here) and I’ve recently been trying out the new Tropic Sun Drops Gradual Tanning Facial Serum. With it coming up to summer (the weather has been b-e-a-utiful today!), I like to get a little glow going on, even if it’s a slightly manufactured one!
Tropic Sun Drops are super easy to use – they come with a sort of pipette and so you just squeeze two to three drops into your moisturiser and mix the two together to make instant tanning moisturiser and then apply to your face as you would a normal moisturiser.
The product is packed full of great natural ingredients (just like all of the Tropic products) including passion fruit extract which conditions the skin, nourishing vitamin E and plant allo-melanin.
Once applied, it gives your skin a lovely natural glow – it’s quite subtle and builds up over time, it’s not one of those tanning products that literally change your skin’s colour, it builds up over time. If you’ve got lovely clear skin, you can probably use this in place of your foundation for day time – it evens out your skin tone and makes you look lovely and radiant.
I also recently tried out the Tropic Aftersun Soothing Tan Optimiser whilst on holiday in Portugal. It really calmed down my skin (it was really sunny and so I was slightly pink on a couple of days!) and since I’ve got back, everyone has commented on how deep my tan is – I usually come back and no one can even tell I’ve been away! I’m going to keep using it while I’m back to hopefully keep my tan as long as possible!
And just a little note about Tropic’s new look – they’ve undergone a rebrand and I absolutely ADORE the packaging – how cute is it?!
