Supermarket chic

I’d love to buy all my clothes from high end high street brands like Ted Baker, French Connection, Whistles and Reiss. Unfortunately, that’s not something that’s attainable right now and so I really love a bargain and I’ve found that some of my best come from the supermarket.

When you’re buying fashion pieces that are not classics and won’t carry you through from season to season, you really don’t want to spend a fortune as your cost per wear won’t add up and so the supermarket offers disposable trends at affordable prices.

Not only this but how convenient is it? I love picking up a new shirt when I go to pick up some milk! My absolute fave is Florence and Fred at Tesco, mainly because it’s literally just up the road from my house.

I picked up this tartan dress this week for just £10 in the sale – it’s super Christmassy and I wore it to a Christmas meal with the girls last night.

We went to Maison Mes Amis in Chesterfield and the food was delicious, the decor vintage chic and the company was fabulous! I had seabass followed by a cheese board – the diet starts tomorrow…which would be today, except I’ve already bought everything to make steak sandwiches for dinner this evening!
