Spring wedding guest outfit inspiration*
I don’t know about you but I’m at that age where everyone is getting married. I love a good wedding and for me it’s about the whole package – choosing a new outfit, spending the morning getting ready, getting teary while watching the vows and, of course, eating and drinking! One of my close friends is getting married in May and I’m so excited, I’m keeping my eyes out for the perfect outfit already and so here are my top picks for a spring wedding guest outfit…

The cheap and cheerful one
Ok, so I would never suggest you go too cheap for a wedding, but cheap n chic worked for Moschino so there’s nothing wrong with wanting to save the pennies. If you don’t know the couple very well, you’re a short notice invite or you’re just feeling the pinch, this Signature Floral Print Dress from Bon Marche is great and only costs £45. Plus, it’s pretty versatile so you’ll be able to wear it for other occasions.

The pastel coloured one
I’ve only really just discovered Little Mistress but I’m obsessed with it for wedding season – they even have a collection of wedding dresses that are gorgeous! I love this Waterlily Crochet Midi Dress and I think this just might be my pick for my friend’s wedding.

The black one
So, it used to be that you weren’t supposed to wear black to a wedding and I still don’t know if I would. Everyone knows that black is a great colour on blondes, it’s slimming and I’ve seen plenty of wedding guests wearing black in the past few years so if you’re going to be brave and do it, this Lace Bodice Midi Dress from Ted Baker is the one to do it in!
