Simple ways to style your outfits when travelling
| Collaborative post |
I love getting my outfits together ready for a trip. There’s something so exciting about planning what you’re going to wear on each day. I wanted to give you a bit of inspiration for your next trip so here are some simple ways to style your outfits when you’re travelling.
Probably my number one go to style when on holiday – I love a beach look! Super simple, denim cut off shorts (I’m obsessed with these, I have at least seven pairs!), bikini and a cover up plus a cute patterned backpack to put your suncream in – you want your outfit to be practical as well as stylish. Add a braided anklet and your Raybans to accessorise.
Dress it up
If you’re going out for a fancy meal, or even to a wedding, while you’re on holiday, why not wear some beautiful sparkly jewellery from F Hinds? Team this with a simple black dress and your glowing tan and let the diamonds do the talking.
I love a hike on my travels – you can still be stylish when in the great outdoors! Some people don’t like leggings to hike in, but I love them because they’re super flexible so they won’t restrict you when there’s a steep bit. A head scarf will look quirky but also keep the hair out of your face when it’s windy or, if the weather is cooler, a bobble hat will keep the heat in.
If you’re heading to Ocean Beach in Ibiza (my fave!), or a similar beach club, you’re going to want to go glam. Pair your statement swimming costume with perfect hair and make-up, plus false lashes, body jewels and lots of glitter and you’re good to go.
Perfect for wandering around a European market or spending an evening in the desert in Dubai, I love a boho look. Add a few silver rings and friendship bracelets to a beautiful maxi dress and you’ve got another travelling outfit staple.
Tailored city break
My very favourite city breaks so far have been in Rome and Venice and if there’s one thing that Italians know how to do well it’s style. Skinny jeans, a stripy tee (or a black polo neck if the weather is chilly!) and a tailored blazer with some heeled ankle boots is my go to outfit for a stylish European city break.
