Review: Dermadeli Skin Care

This American based product is pretty much exactly what it says on the tin: skin care (derma) that’s food based (deli), so when I was promised some products for review, I was expecting chocolate, cake, all that sort of yummy stuff. But no, in keeping with my diet for the past couple of weeks, these products are really natural, made from ingredients that are great for you and designed to nourish and repair your skin, restoring it to its natural best.

So, there’s the Green Tea Exfoliator. To be honest, I didn’t like green tea when I tried drinking it for a month during a cleanse. But putting it on your face is a whole different matter! It’s really mild and natural, which means that you can use it pretty much every day to remove dead skin cells and build-up. It kind of feels a little bit like Weetabix (when it’s all moshed up) for the face. It’s really different to the normal synthetic products available on the market but it leaves the skin baby soft.

I’ve also been using their Nourishing Eye Cream. I’ve been using eye creams in various guises for a couple of years now as part of my daily routine and I couldn’t live without them. My full time job involves looking at a computer screen all day and, obviously, my biggest hobby is blogging so I’m forever scrunching up my eyes, as well as being tired from working long hours.

This eye cream is really brightening, helping to reduce the dark circles caused by burning the candle at both ends and it’s cool when applied to the sensitive skin of the eye area. You can tell by the smell of the product that it’s super fresh and made of all good stuff.

They also do a moisturiser for day time and a night cream for before bed, so your whole routine is covered with just one brand. Ideal for sensitive skins, they are packed full of nutrients and from just a week of using them, my skin feels brighter, softer and clearer.

So the moral of the story? You are what you eat!

You’re welcome! I’m not a huge fan of green tea to drink, but I’m not averse to putting it on my face! 🙂 xx
