OOTD with Revival Vintage*
Vintage fashion has never been more cool. In fact, in our Whatsapp group the other day we were talking about upcycling our outfits for our Christmas meal and my bestie mentioned that apparently Kate Middleton is a big fan of upcycling and well, if it’s good enough for Kate, it’s good enough for me!
Revival Vintage is an online vintage fashion business based in Huddersfield and they sent me a kilo of vintage clothes to try. The shop actually runs this as a sale where you pay £10 per kilo of items so you pay for clothes by weight rather than by item, which I think is pretty novel.
My very favourite item was these colourful culottes which I teamed with a crop top, shiny platform wedges and some round glasses. Ok, so this outfit might be a little too summery for this time of year but I’ve popped it straight into my wardrobe for next summer. I looked super 70s and I could just imagine myself wandering round Shoreditch in the sunshine.
I really love scarves for comfort as well as fashion, they’re great for keeping you warm while also adding a little something extra to your outfit by way of accessories. This one is great as it is light pink which is really neutral so will go with any outfit. It works perfectly tied quite tightly around the neck with a button down white shirt or a little looser with a scoop neck top or dress.
