Lingerie Set from Panache | Marcie*

Panache lingerie set
Remember the Panache event I went to in Sheffield back in June? Well I am FINALLY getting round to writing up my post about the beautiful lingerie set that I was given after the event. So sorry for the delay but I was saving the lingerie set to wear on my holidays and since I’ve got back my life has been crazy busy. It seems like I’ve done lots of swimwear and lingerie posts recently but don’t worry – this one won’t contain any selfies. I don’t think the world is ready to see me in a sheer bra and pants just yet.

The lovely people at Panache allowed me to choose the lingerie set I wanted from their catalogue and I chose the Marcie bra and brief set in nude. I loved the picture in the catalogue of the model wearing the lingerie set but at first I thought I’d made a grave error as you have to be quite tanned to pull off a nude underwear set.

Fear not, when the lingerie set arrived, I ripped open its packaging greedily and ran to try it on. Surprisingly the colour looked really great on me (sans fake tan) and didn’t leave me looking washed out or a bit like I was just naked. This lingerie set is from Panache’s Cleo range which is the fashion forward face of the brand.

I absolutely adore the design of this underwear – it’s really feminine and delicate – girly but sexy at the same time and fabulous whether you want to dress down for every day use or up for a special occasion. I’ve always loved nude bras as they are great under white or see-through tops – even better than white bras! This bra is really supportive and I love the fact that the straps go more towards the inside of your chest rather than at the edge of your shoulders, they go under tops so much more easily that way.

I love the fact that Panache do pretty and stylish bras for the fuller figured lady (ahem) so that you don’t have to resign yourself to a plain white boring bra that does nothing for you, you can still be fun and flirty with your underwear.

Top Tip: When I had my bra size measured at the Panache event, the ladies advised me to go for a cup that’s elasticated or detailed on top – perfect for those with a bigger bust!
