Freya Active Sports Bra Review*

Freya Active Sports Bra
Any fuller figured woman will know the pain of working out when you have boobs. It’s uncomfortable, impractical, and sometimes downright painful. That’s why it’s really important to get yourself a good sports bra for working out. I got sent this nude sports bra by Freya Active from Lingerie by Victoria to try out, so I was really excited to pop it on for my next work out.

Freya underwear specialises in larger sizes and this particular sports bra is available in cup sizes DD-K and back sizes 28 – 38 so pretty much whatever your shape, you’re in luck. It can be really difficult to find good fitting bras when you have a fuller bust and Freya’s size range is great. I have a 28 back size but I’m an E cup which is almost impossible to find on the high street, so it’s online all the way.

Ok, so it’s not the most attractive of underwear, but then – nude bras never are! This definitely isn’t one to wear with your abs out in the gym, you’re going to need a top over the top of it. But, of course, looks aren’t the most important thing when it comes to a sports bra.

What is the most important thing is the movement – or not, because there literally isn’t any. I felt so well supported that I could go on a trampoline with absolutely no movement in that area – in fact, I would go so far as to say, I’ve never felt that much support in a sports bra before. Wearing this, I felt super comfortable during Legs, Bums and Tums and could concentrate fully on getting a great workout.

There are a few features of the Freya Active sports bra that make it so supportive, including its thick shoulder and back straps, which I love, and double fabric which uses Coolmax technology to move moisture away from the body for a less sweaty workout. It also has an underwire, a feature that is often missing in sports bras, which gives you a great shape, rather than just strapping your bust down, as so many sports bras do.

With all these features, I’m going to go out on a limb and call this the most supportive sports bra I’ve tried yet!

I come from a family of top heavy women and as someone who has fought the uphill battle of working out with bigger breasts.
On cardio days I’ve taken to wearing two sports bras! It’s the worst. Definitely going to check these out thanks for sharing 

It’s definitely a massive struggle! This bra really does seem to be the most supportive I’ve worn so far – I have a cute little Nike pink one but for running it just doesn’t do the job!

I’ve been looking for a sports bra for larger sizes. I’m in! Ps. Seriously? I got the multiplication captcha wrong? I hate Captcha.

Oh I need a new sports bra too! That one looks like a good one and if it’s trampoline proof – even better!

Well I can’t say I’ve tried it trampolining (wish I had though!) but it definitely feels secure enough to keep you in place!

Great honest review. I have small boobs… so I don’t feel your pain, but I will be telling my sister about the bra!
