DHC Revitalizing Moisture Strips*

I’ve had the craziest week. I’ve spent my week travelling between Matlock, York, Helmsley and back again and I even got on a train (yes, I used public transport). Luckily it was a simple journey with only one change in Sheffield (where I used to live), but still. And in between all that I’ve been answering emails, blogging and trying to coordinate all my work projects.

The upshot (or should I say down shot?!) of all this means that the bags under my eyes are bigger than the suitcase I took with me to York. I’ve always suffered quite badly from bags under my eyes, they’re dark and puffy – even if I get my full eight hours!
I’m currently trying out the DHC Revitalizing Moisture Strips for the eyes. These are super easy to use, they come in pairs on a backing paper and all you need to do is peel them off and stick them underneath your eyes.

Let me tell you – if these little beauts do absolutely nothing else, it’s worth putting them on just for the relaxing experience that is wearing them. They’re icy cool so great after a busy day, especially if your eyes are tired from looking at your computer all day. They literally feel amazing when you put them on! Forget cucumber and put the teabags back in the mug. This, my friends, is where it’s at.
I’m wearing them whilst the fiancĂ© is watching Sky Sports News (Deadline Day = yawn) and I feel as if I’m really being pampered but they don’t hinder your vision at all or feel uncomfortable in the slightest. You can leave them on for 30 minutes or overnight while you sleep to wake up with super bright peepers – I’m definitely doing that next time!
They’re packed full of nourishing and natural ingredients to refresh, firm and moisturise:
– Olive leaf extract and amino acids to hydrate
– Soy to firm up that delicate area
– Mulberry and peony to brighten
– Aloe to refresh.
I’m really trying to look after that delicate eye area a little more as I get older (and busier!) as that’s one of the places on your face where the first signs of aging appear and I’m going to encorporate these into my beauty regime, using them twice weekly.
