DHC Olive Collection review*
As I’ve just got back from a week in Tenerife my skin is in need of a bit of TLC thanks to a bit of sunbathing. I’m a huge believer in both pre and post tanning care for your skin as both will help to make your tan last longer and so for the last couple of years I’ve added both using a body scrub and moisturising my entire body to my daily skincare routine.
DHC Olive Corn Body Scrub & Polish is the cult Japanese brand’s invigorating and reviving pick-me-up and is perfect for tired, dry and sunkissed skin. It contains natural corn cob granules in two sizes to remove dead surface skin without being too harsh on it. It also has the welcome addition of olive oil and vitamin E which help to hydrate the skin.
I love the consistency of this scrub – sometimes you find they can be a little dry and therefore difficult to spread over your skin – this one is smooth and runny and a little goes a long way. To be honest, I’m not in love with the scent of it, it smells a little like mushrooms…which I absolutely love to eat but I’m not that keen on having them in my shower! However, it’s only a slight scent which I could smell when I put the product close to my nose, so it didn’t bother me too much.
The body scrub left my skin feeling polished and revitalised and the Olive Body Butter was the perfect partner – great for after-shower moisturising.
This little collection also makes the perfect treat for your mum for Mother’s Day! Find out more and get yours here.
