Botanicals Rose & Geranium Nourish Body Polish review*

To get a gorgeous tan, you need to make sure that the skin is well prepared which is why I was really pleased to receive Botanicals Rose & Geranium Nourish Body Polish a couple of weeks before my holiday to Skiathos. This is a gentle body scrub product which uses ingredients such as raw cane sugar, Himalayan salt crystals alongside an infusion of certified essential oils, including wild rose and geranium.

The Nourish Body Polish is part of the new Rose & Geranium range which has anti-ageing benefits and is specially formulated to nourish, nurture and protect the skin. Rose is quite a unique and brilliant little ingredient which has natural antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties. It’s also rich in vitamin C and helps to calm and soothe the mind with its aromatic properties.

I’ve used quite a few Botanicals products before and have always been impressed with them. I love using natural and organic skincare products and so Botanicals ticks all the boxes for this. They are 100% natural and are certified by the Soil Association. They don’t contain any parabens, sulphates or controversial ingredients and so you can rest assured that it’s only good stuff going on your skin.

My body scrub tips

I use a body scrub every time I shower or bath and I learnt a great tip on a spray tanning training course at Sienna X a few years ago. They recommended to use a body scrub on your dry skin, before getting into the bath or shower. Once you’re in there, you can lather it up. After your wash, apply a rich body moisturiser and your skin will be ready to catch the sun.

This body scrub is a pleasure to use, smells delightful and leaves your skin perfectly buffed, brightened and energised – ready for your next holiday!
