April Shopping Haul
It’s been a while since I’ve been shopping. And I mean REALLY shopping – not just nipping into Tesco and picking up a new blouse or a pair of heels for work. I mean an out and out spree! With my holiday coming up (less than four weeks to go) I decided it was about time I had one. So I got my favourite shopping partners (M and D in case you were wondering) and hotfooted it to the local shops…
Every holiday needs a new bikini and this one from Primark is nautical and cute – I love bandeaus because you tend to get a better tan on your chest and shoulders. They also sell the top and bottoms separately which is a must for me as I need different sizes for both.
This cute t-shirt will also be perfect to wear over the top of my bikini in the day time for lunch time and if I venture off the sun lounger and into town. Oh, and did I mention I’m going to New York?!
I now have denim shorts in pretty much every colour you can imagine and I love these coral-coloured ones – a great update on a classic for this year.
I love an Aztec print for summer and this one is also neon – a great beach cover-up.
It’ll only be May when I venture off on the #PartridgePortugalTrip and planes are also really cold and so I’ve invested in this striped jumper to keep me cosy – I’m loving the lace detail on the bottom – and I can wear a little top underneath for when I arrive. I’m going to team this with my favourite iconic Topshop jeans which M & D treated me to for Christmas – the Jonis. Taylor Swift has a pair don’t ya know?!
Accessories-wise I’m going for these cute cut-out detail pumps which will look pretty awesome with a tan and this statement necklace which the Easter bunny left for me last Sunday.
Every selfie-queen should have one of these tees and it can be worn over the top of a bikini for the beach, with high waisted skinnies for at-home daytime or with these gorgeous shorts for dinner and cocktails.
I clearly love a lace detail and this cardigan has it – perfect for when it drops chilly at night time!
Summer time is the time to go colourful! I often stick to a black/grey colour palette but these brights look gorgeous for an evening stroll or the beach or drinks in the local bar. I’m going to toss on this slouchy blazer for serious laidback cool.
